About the Hush Farms Telehander and Forklift training course

Telescopic handlers (telehandlers) and forklift trucks provide a similar service, but are very distinct machines.  A forklift truck is often used on hard services, and is predominantly designed to lift loads onto shelves or storage areas, or for unloading other vehicles.  Warehouses, storage areas and cargo bays are the most likely environments for forklift trucks.

Telehandlers have telescopic booms which extend to place loads at great height, over obstacles, or in awkward-to-reach areas such as barn ceilings or higher floors on worksites.  A telehandler is a hybrid of a forklift and a tractor, and as such has qualities from both that require specialist training.

Hush Farms’ instructors have extensive practical experience of both machine types in agriculture, construction and commercial industries and are experts in the specific demands for each machinery type.
