The course caters for all levels of experience and needs for 4x4 Driver Training.
This 4x4 training is a LANTRA course and involves Integrated Training and Assessment, designed for operators driving full-time or on an occasional basis.

Whether you are new to off-road driving, or an experience operator looking for a formal refresher course, our on-site training is designed for professional users. We know for many land-based workers, safety and expertise off-road isn’t an option, but the core skills of the job.
We have a network of LANTRA-approved 4x4 off-road course sites around the UK, so you can either come to our sites in Devon and Wales for your 4x4 off-road training, or we’ll come nearer to you. Our 4x4 driver training can be tailored to your specific needs, for 4x4 drivers of all levels, so it can includeincluding bespoke elements too, – from tackling a steep incline, to manoeuvring in thick mud.
The training programme covers all of the core skills LANTRA mandates for safe and competent off-road driving. This includes vehicle inspection and checks, understanding traction control systems and reading terrain. Practical training activities cover slippery surfaces, mud roads and rutted tracks, steep ascents and descents, plus how to handle challenging adverse weather conditions such as snow and flooding.
Our industry experience includes working with public and private sectors, government organisations and wildlife trusts. All of our instructors have lengthy experience working with 4x4 off-road vehicles, in the toughest of terrains, and are qualified to the professional standards set out by LANTRA and NPTC.
