About the Hush Farms Ride-On Mower Training Course
The Hush Farms Ride-On Mower training course aims to train delegates to use professional mowing equipment safely and efficiently. Ride-on mowers are used across a broad range of working environments from golf courses and country estates to football grounds and roadside verges. Understanding the safety aspects and operating capacity for mowing machinery in these conditions is essential to prolonging the lifespan of the equipment and managing a varied workload safely.
Preventing the most common risks when mowing, such as rolling over on slopes or contact with the cutting deck are core to our training agenda. We also cover the different types of mowers, from zero-turn to towing accessories and implements.
Maintenance is a critical element of safe and efficient mower use, and the training includes checking for blocked filters, worn or chipped blades and stretched belts. Operators learn how to build a routine for basic checks, avoiding costly repairs.
If you have new employees or new equipment for your team, our 1-day training is perfect for ensuring you remain compliant with HSE guidance.
