About Our Chainsaw Refresher Courses
Hush Farms offers refresher chainsaw training courses to renew your chainsaw qualifications.
Chainsaw operatives are recommended to renew their certificates either:
Every 3 years if using a chainsaw on an occasional basis, or
Every 5 years if using a chainsaw on a professional basis.

1 day for Maintenance & cross-cut @ £225pp (+VAT), based on 4 people attending.
2 days for Maintenance, Cross-cutting and Felling & Processing up to 380mm @ £310pp (+VAT)

Prices include LANTRA training and assessment.
The Legal Bit
The law states that anyone who uses a chainsaw in the workplace must have proof of adequate training from a qualified person, to operate the machine safely, in appropriate conditions. Your chainsaw training must also be periodically updated. This legislation applies to everyone – volunteers, employed or self-employed alike.
